When you think of Ancaster I hope you think of community.  A community that pulls together to help those less fortunate than us.  One of the groups in Ancaster helping with this vision is The Ancaster Lions Club.  Having been formed in 1945 it remains the oldest service club in the community.  The Ancaster Lions Club is a voluntary organization of both men and women who have joined together to serve our community.

These amazing groups of volunteers work at events such as Ancaster Heritage Days, The Ancaster Fair and the Ancaster Community Services Food Drive.

They also organize numerous craft fairs throughout the year.  The next one being held in April.

Ancaster Lions Club is proud to support many organizations including:  Wesley Urban Ministries, Good Shepherd, Ronald MacDonald House, King George School, YWCA and many more.

Are you wondering how you can help?  Well you don’t have to be a member.  Whether you are a student or adult you can help by volunteering your time at any of the events organized by the Ancaster Lions Club.

Contact The Lions Club for more information on how you can help strengthen our community through volunteering your time.
