The Ancaster Township Historical Society was chartered in 1950 and is dedicated to promoting an interest in the history of Ancaster.

This month meeting will take place on Friday April 26th, 2013 at 7:30 pm.

The Ancaster Township Historical Society continues its Speaker Series with the life and times of Clementina Fessenden.  She was the founder of Empire day and mother of Reginald Fessenden.  This will be  presented by Beth Mills.

The Historical Society meets at the Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street East and parking is available behind the Municipal Building.

Visitors are always welcomed and if you are not a member of The Historical Society the charge to attend the information event is $2.00.
