Redeemer – Fiddler on the Roof Lecture & Excursion

Fiddler on the Roof
Join Redeemer for a lecture about this wonderful production, and then come along with a group to a matinee performance of this affectionately humorous portrait of life in a Jewish village in Tsarist Russia centred on Tevye, a milkman-philosopher who finds his values challenged by his daughters’ insistence on following their hearts rather than the dictates of tradition.
Prof. Sharon Klassen teaches in the Theatre Arts Department at Redeemer. She is a regular lecturer for our CLEAR department and is known to present pre-event lectures full of loads of useful context to enhance your experience.
