Susan Outlaw is a local Ancaster resident.  She was born in Mainz, Germany in 1973. She immigrated to Canada with her family in 1975 and settled in the small rural community of Lynden.  She moved to Ancaster after graduating from Sheridan College in 1995.

When asked what she loves about Ancaster it is what most of us do.  The consevation lands, hiking trails, and the small town feel.   The stone architecture that is a trademark of the town.  Her love of Ancaster can be seen in many of her paintings “Winter in Spring Valley” and “Dundas Valley River”.  Her subjects not only include landscapes but still life, poppies and architectual paintings.  She has some beautiful pieces including one featuring the Ancaster Old Town Hall.

Susan’s Art is currently represented by Earls Court Gallery in Hamilton  and she is a member of the Womens Art Association of Hamilton where her art is on display several times throughout the year.
