The Ancaster Township Historical Society Monthly Meeting
The Ancaster Township Historical Society was chartered in 1950 and is dedicated to promoting an interest in the history of Ancaster.
This month meeting will take place on Friday November 30th, 2012 at 7:30 pm.
The Ancaster Township Historical Society continues its Speaker Series with Bob Williamson presenting LAKE ONTARIO NAVAL HISTORY in the WAR of 1812. This is an insight into the 1812 War and what took place on Lake Ontario.
Commander Williamson is a retired Reserve Naval Officer. A well-known Naval Historian as well as a Historical Re-enactor. Commander Williamson lives in Ancaster and is a member of the ANCASTER TOWNSHIP HISTORICAL SOCIETY.
The Historical Society meets at the Old Town Hall, 310 Wilson Street East and parking is available behind the Municipal Building.
Visitors are always welcomed and if you are not a member of The Historical Society the charge to attend the information event is $2.00.
